Our Process
We drill each Pearl in house with diamond drill bits. These bits don't have sharp edges to "cut" the pearl but have a dull diamond sand paper texture. They act as an abrasive tool. They use high-speed friction and the extreme hardness of industrial diamonds to slowly grind through incredibly tough surfaces like pearl nacre and its core being a hard bead nucleus made of mother-of-pearl.
